Does anyone have any tips for staying cool in Kyoto this summer? I got a job teaching there for almost 2 months June-August. I am extremely sensitive to hot weather with my dermatitis, but it was just too good a chance to refuse.
Does rainy season cool things down, once it hits?
I did live in Iwate before in high summer, but Iwate just gets hot for a few days.
Do people use air conditioning more nowadays or is it just gonna be gaman time and tough luck? Probably I will be in a homestay. Thanks in advance. Hoping my homestay won’t frown if i invest in a powerful fan, at least.
