I mean if your visa allows you, you can leave and reenter whenever. Depends on your visa type.
I assume that’s not possible then it depends on the visa you apply for, so ask the immigration for more info, but I think no. Since you need to pick it up somewhere. Which should be the immigration office in Japan unless you asked them and they said you can pick it up at a consulate in your country.
But depending on the visa you can stay in Japan for as long as they take to finish the procedure of your visa. So if you hand in all the things they need before the 20th, they should give you something into your passport so authorities know that your visa application is being processed. That’s not always the case, it depends on the visa 🙂 you should definitely ask the immigration office since they make up the rules as they please. There is this one older guy who speaks all languages. Hes like the avatar of languages. If in doubt, try to find him. He’s usually at the information
As long as your visa is valid when u come back to Japan, there shudnt be a problem
If i were you i would go to immigration offices and and notify them off the situation. They’re normaøøy vety helpful. And may even be able to assist you in prolonging your permission to stat until you get it sorted with your student one. Again very helpful and informative. Twi-twee break a leg
