I posted about my trip a few months ago about flying internationally for the first time and today was supposed to be the day I go to Okinawa. It’s been a terrible start of the week with my car breaking down, but I was still looking forward to Okinawa until Delta had a flight scheduled change. They didn’t reissue me my new itinerary, so when I went to the airport the agent informed me that whoever did the flight schedule change, didn’t finish booking my new ticket for me before sending me the email. BUT have no fear, the kind lady helped me confirmed my new tickets and now I’m flying in the afternoon but stopping in Incheon airport instead of Haneda now. How does South Korea’s custom work? What will I have to do to get my physical ticket from Seoul to Okinawa? The lady informed me they wouldn’t be able to print the international ticket, and I would have to connect with Korean Air in Incheon. Do I have to go out of the gate and then reenter their TSA? What about my luggage? 😠it was so much easier if the layover was still in Haneda since I did all my stuff online for Japan as a whole already, but now I have to worry about another country.
After everything was confirmed, I came back home and cried for a good hour. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get to Okinawa. 🥲
