As you may know, the J-Find visa is rather new (April 2023), therefore there’s not much information available; I couldn’t find any info in this sub’s wiki, the previous posts are somewhat vague, and a quick search in google wasn’t very fruitful either.
According to the website of the ministry of Justice in Japan, this visa allows you to find a job and/or start a business. You’re also allowed to engage in activities that allow you sustain yourself while you’re job hunting; what kind of activities are those specifically? Part-time jobs? If that’s the case for how many hours per week? In which industries? I read somewhere that apparently the only jobs that cannot be taken are from the entertainment industry, but it seems everything else is fine, is that correct? Since they only ask you to have 200,000 yen, I very much assume they expect you to work in some capacity to sustain yourself.
I am very interested since I fulfill the requirements, and while I would much rather land a job before moving, this might a solid plan B if I cannot land one within a reasonable amount of time.
