Itinerary Check – Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara

Hello everyone! I’m so excited for my trip to Japan next month. Short background: I’m 31F, traveling solo from the United States and have traveled solo in the past before. My travel style: I love temples, nature, and the arts.

I am not planning on purchasing a JR pass for this trip.

I’d like this to be a chiller day. I’m thinking that a spa day might be nice, but I’m not sure yet. Open to suggestions.

**MARCH 16** \– Departing from Haneda @ 5:35 PM — 0.5 day in Tokyo. I haven’t thought of a way to spend the morning/early afternoon yet. Open to suggestions for some relaxing things to do before I take the 11-hour flight back home. 🙂

This subreddit has been so helpful as I’ve planned this itinerary and I would welcome thoughts, suggestions, etc., about what is already on my itinerary – as well as any suggestions for food that you enjoyed in Asakusa, Nara, and Kyoto. I don’t have any dietary restrictions and I love pretty much all foods.

Thank you!
