I (37m) am here on travel with my girlfriend (29f) through the 13th.
I do have a day trip to hakuba scheduled for the 11th to see the snow. I would likely stay in tokyo most of the rest of the time.
We are staying in the shinagawa area, from the NYC area (NJ), and have little to no Japanese.
We will likely check out some of the rock bars in golden gai tonight and maybe a club but trying to find more activities throughout the week to explore at night such as live bands, hip hop DJs, and other experiences.
The last time I was here, there was a small group of people doing English stand-up comedy, and it was a blast, but I could not find that group again.

I am actually going to be travelling to Japan next week and staying for 20 days. I am keen to try and see if I can find a rugby team I can have a run with while I am there so I can feel what it’s like to train there.
