Hello all, heading to Japan for the first time, SOLO Female next month. I have put up together a rough itinerary. Please look through and let me know if there are ways to improve. I am still researching on my Tokyo itinerary though so it’s a bit rough and a mess. Please help and it would be great to have more suggestions, tips and tricks, especially if the locations are near to each other, or i need more time for certain places.
Please recommend some cheap and nice food as well! And i don’t mind walking a lot. And I plan to start my day really early like 6 – 6.30AM.
**Day 1 SUNDAY – OSAKA (reaching 12PM or so)**
\- Hotel check in/settle down near Shin Osaka
\- Osaka Wonder Cruise Dotonbori
\- Spend/Visit Osaka/Dotonbori whole evening
*What else can I do here? Hotel check-in would be around 3PM.*
**Day 2 MONDAY – OSAKA**
Osaka Aquarium (3 – 4 hours)
Osaka Castle
Umeda Sky Building
Dotonbori for Dinner/or others
**Day 3 TUESDAY – Travel to Himeji Castle**
Himeji Castle
Kokoen Garden
Mt Shosha (maybe)
**Day 4 WEDNESDAY – Universal Studio (FULL DAY) -** ***absolute no changing on this itinerary because it’s my birthday! And I want to be in a theme park on my birthday. :D***

**Day 6 FRIDAY – Kyoto**
Fushimi Inari Shrine (planning a full hike, probably 3 -4 hours?)

My flight is at night around 11PM, leaving from Haneda Airport. So I am going to park my luggage somewhere (any recommendations?) so that I could still spend my day doing any last minute sight seeing or shopping.
Any recommendations?

Based on my itinerary, are there any special passes that you would recommend me to buy to save some money? I do plan to buy a 2 days Osaka passes for my first 2 nights in Osaka so that I could save some money travelling around Osaka, since I stay in Shin-Osaka area.
My tokyo itinerary is still a mess, i know!!! I still have about 30 days to plan and prepare.
Please help!
