Low Yen & Moving money abroad

Hello!

Our household, which lives in EU, has a Yen MUFG account which collects income from work done for Japanese companies. This is all properly taxed in EU.

Back in the 2010s we regularly used to move money to EU but for some years the low yen has made us stop. This is becoming an issue because we would benefit from that liquidity.

It seems such a waste to move money with the current rates so I am curious if anyone can suggest how to move this money in EU more efficiently. If this is even possible.
Waiting for better rates is an option but we have been doing that for years and so far it has only made the situation worse as it keeps tanking…

Thank you in advance for any pointers/thoughts/advice/comment!
