Japanese credit cards to accumulate airmiles/points

Hi all,

I’m looking into credit cards in Japan with strong returns on airmiles or points that can easily be converted into airmiles and would be grateful for any insights.

I travel to North America or Europe at least once a year and may take one or two trips around this region each year as well.

I was reading over a long thread on this topic from two years ago but found that the terms on some of the cards, including the Saison card, have recently changed quite a bit so am hoping that people here might have more up to date information.
