What did everyone think about this year’s FantasticaMania? I enjoyed last year a little bit better than this year but not by much. Maybe because last year was my first time watching a whole FantasticMania tour as a whole. The early half of this tour was nice for what it gave the fans. I appreciated them giving us Akira for this tour and see what chemistry he can create with the CMLL stars. Looking at the younger guys like Soberano Jr. Templario, Atlantis Jr. and Dorada, I hope to see them in the Best of the Super Jrs this year. As well as Mistico and Volador Jr. to be in this year’s G1. The last two shows that were back to back in Korakuen were excellent shows. The two main events really showed what these CMll stars are about when you watch them perform. My match of the night for this tour was Volador Jr. vs Rocky Romero. I’m ready to see these guys back in New Japan sooner than later.
Edit: My one negative input us that Zandokan Jr. wasn’t announced for this tour. You would think from his appearance at WTL last year, he would’ve been on the show but they already announced the competitors around WTL
