Has anybody done this from a place with reciprocity with Japan where you don’t have to take the tests anymore? I have an Oregon (USA) driving license and they were just added to a reciprocal agreement where they don’t have to take the tests to get a license. I just have a question about the required documents. It says online you need something that says when your motorcycle endorsement was added to your driver licenses. I don’t have this and have no record of when that was. I’ve looked on the Oregon DMV site and there’s something vaguely similar that might work but you need to visit the DMV in person for it and obviously that’s difficult since I live in Japan. I’ve contacted the Oregon DMV but haven’t heard back and doubt I will. Just wondering how you did it if you’re from a place where you can transfer automatically with no tests and what the process was like?
