I will be in Japan May 14 -29 with an idea of where I will be going to. Flying into Haneda and then staying in Yokohama. Then I will get a flight to Hokkaido and staying in Sapporo and Hakodate, and then Tokyo. I’m about to book hotels and I am not sure how much time to spend in each location. I was considering staying in Yokohama the 14-17 or 18 before I fly out. Then Sapporo or Hakodate first, then a train ride to the other city. Then fly to Tokyo for the end of my trip. My issue is figuring out how much time in each area. Also tips for day trips are also appreciated.
