Hello all,
I have trip coming up this weekend to tokyo and Ive got some medicine that I have to take with me. I know that I only need to take what I’m going to need for my stay (7 days) and looked through the sites about prohibited medicines in Japan.
I wasn’t able to find an actual list of what medicine is prohibited, only substances.
So I was wondering if any of you could tell me if any of the following medication is prohibited?
The medications are:
– Metformin – 500 mg – twice a day – diabetes
– Venlafaxine – 75 mg – Once a day – depression
– Omeprazole – 20 mg – Once a day – Stomachache
– Tylenol Arthritis Pain – 650 mg – every 8 hour if need it – pain
– Tylenol 8hr Muscles Aches & Pain – 650 mg – every 8 hour if need it – pain
From what I’ve found I think im fine but if anyone of you could confirm I would greatly appreciate it.
