I have a medium sized 4 wheeler Samsonite. I’ve done a test pack and can carry it up and down stairs easily enough with 1 hand.
But I’m tempted by a wheeled backpack (eg: Osprey Farpoint Wheeled 65). I can carry that on my back plus a daypack on my front which might make it easier up stairs (as I’ve seen a lot of youtubers do the turtle so it must be a good way).
I’ll be travelling from Tokyo to Osaka and Kyoto on the train. I’d rather not use the luggage service as I’ll need to carry a day’s worth of stuff anyway (as it could take up to 1 day for luggage between hotels) so not much point.
