Planning to be in Japan again next Spring (if I am unable to go this June, which is looking more and more likely) and have been working on an itinerary, although I know it may be a bit early. I have several free days still, and would love to hear any daytrip or suggestions on things to do in the locations I have. I am also open to alternatives, especially since I am still in the early stages of planning, and love things like hiking, theme parks, nature, and history.
March 15 – March 28: With arrival on March 15
\- My days in Tokyo will mostly be shopping, exploring, gardens, hoping to see cherry blossoms, and eating.

March 29 – 31: Hakone

\- Hakone Tozan Railway
\- Open Air Musuem
\- Hot Springs
\- Hakone Shrine
\- Okada Museum of art
\- Ashinoko
April 1 – April 5: Fukuoka.

\- Visiting friends for most of my time there

April 6 – 9: Beppu

\- Hot Springs
\- Day trip to Kunisaki Peninsula
April 10 – 16: Osaka
Will possibly leave Beppu on evening of the 9th to travel via ferry to Osaka meaning I would arrive on the morning of the 10th.

\- 2 days at USJ
\- 1 Rest day
\- Minoo Park, Osaka Castle, and Namba
April 17 – 21: Kyoto
\- Nijo Castle
\- Kyoto Manga Museum
\- Kiyomizudera
\- Kyoto National Museum
\- Kinkakuji
\- Ginkakuji
\- Fushimi Inari
\- Shujakuin VIlla
\- Arashiyama
April 22 – 23: Kawaguchiko
\- Panoramic Ropeway
\- Music Forest
\- Gem Museum
April 24 – 28: Back to Tokyo for Tokyo Disneyland Resort.
\- I know this will mean visiting TDLR over the weekend, and I am fine with that as I have been before but wanted to go on my birthday no matter what.
April 29 – Tokyo
\- Staying in Tokyo Station area
\- Last minute shopping
April 30 – Leave Japan
