Will be back in Japan, this time with our 6 year old, for ten days. The last time was 8 years ago and we we spent 2.5 weeks around Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kobe.
Hoping to see something different this time..figure well spend 2-3 days in Tokyo where we fly into..so if you had a week to spend elsewhere, where would you go? Really would love something with pretty architecture/more picturesque less boring urban sprawl, excellent culinary scene, near nature is a bonus.
Open to anywhere in the country.
