I am resident of Japan, I have recently switched to freelancing (from a full time job), and I am about to spend three months abroad, mostly to my home country but also in a couple surrounding European countries where I have friends and business partners.
Unfortunately I am currently seeing a therapist and getting medication, some for the mind, some also for other problems that a blood test revealed.
I have been looking about travel insurance that would cover me in the UK (where I’m going), and I have a hard time understanding if I could simply go to a therapist there and get covered. They keep talking about “emergency” stuff. It’s not emergency, it’s totally planned. If it was to get expensive and go past the excess amount, I’d like to be covered. My doctor can’t give me more than one month worth of medicine…
What about stuff like going to get checked for some headache, for a stomach pain, etc. where I would typically go to an international clinic in Japan?
Thanks in advance
