When I moved to Japan (many years ago), we had to sort our plastic trash for separate collection. It disappeared quickly (I think it was around 2008?)… Fast forward +15 years and it’s now back : there’s a sign at my garbage collection point that plastic garbage is now going to be collected separately from April. Anyone knows why it’s back ?
PS: I am quite happy given the insane amount of plastic Japan uses in every day life.
