About taking medicine and vitamins to Japan

Hi!

I was just wondering if you need to fill in for a Yunyu Kakunin-sho to bring vitamin/mineral suplements to Japan, because I can’t find any specific information online. I intend to bring enough for 3 to 10 months (the amount is different depending on the suplement because I’m taking them for different periods of time). And also is a doctor’s prescription is necessary for this?

Also, for general medicines like ibuprofen, acetaminophen, loratadine, etc., do I need a prescription? I’m staying in Japan for some time and I want to bring enough for it to last for at least a couple months, ideally a year.

I also want to bring Ketorolac Tromethamine, which I take for period cramps, but for this one I do have a prescription, as well as for my thyroid medication.

Thanks in advance for those who took the time to read and answer this!
