Hi everyone. Japan has always been a dream of mine to visit. My wife and I are finally getting to a point where it’s becoming a very viable possibility. So my question is this; why don’t I hear much about scams on tourists as much as other places? I look around at other countries subreddits and it seems like every other post is about a scam of some kind. Is this not a big thing in Japan? We are looking at starting in Okinawa for a couple days then visiting other areas. Are there any typical, well known issues we should be aware of?
