What is the most practical way to send money to a japanese bank account with a foreign bank account without having excessive fees ?

Hi everyone, I will try to make it short but I think a small contextualization is needed to understand my situation.

I’m a student living in Japan for 6 months and I only have a Belgian debit card, a Belgian credit card and a Revolut credit card.

Every week I play soccer with my Japanese friends. One of my friend organizes the match and rents the pitch. So, I pay him back for the pitch and give him the money in cash. But the problem is that I try to avoid as much as possible to withdraw cash because with my Belgian cards I have 8% of withdrawal fee. Every time I withdraw money, the fees are quite high I think. So I would like to find an alternative and pay him with bank transfer if the fees are less than withdrawal.

I checked PayPay and LinePay but I can’t use it since I don’t have a japanese bank account or a japanese credit card.

Making a basic bank transfer from my Belgian bank account to his Japanese bank account would also have important fees.

I compared the fees I would pay in a month between withdrawing at the ATM and bank transfer with Revolut/Wise and withdrawing is still the cheapest one. So I don’t think I will use Revolut or Wise.

Do you guys have a solution or another method in mind to avoid transaction fees or withdrawal fees ?

Thanks in advance !
