So, I came to Japan May 15th 2023 (1 year visa). I paid my taxes last week, and went to the ward Office today because employer asked me to bring the nozei shomeisho and other documents by March 1st (a bit early but whatever). People at the ward office said it won’t be issued before June. Ward office guy said you will have to consult the professionals.
Visa expiration: May 16th 2024
Nozei shomeisho availability: June 2024
My question is have you even been in a similar situation, and what did you do?
