I saw an example recently that was like ‘午後から会議となると、急いで準備しなければならないんです。
That could be wrong, but it’s close.
What is the difference between となると and just saying あれば?
I know it can be used to convey ‘when it comes to’, so to add to that I don’t understand how it differs greatly from の時に/の時は etc.
Also I don’t get how it can be used instead of と言えば to say ‘when it comes to’
Thank you!
