Toppan (TOPPY), Komatsu (KMTUY), and Kawasaki (KWHIY)
I am in the USA, and given my current financial circumstances, I would most likely be buying ADR shares on OTCMKTS.
Admittedly, I haven’t done much research into these companies, but I am curious if anyone here is invested in them or knows much about them.
All three companies are at least 100 years old, so clearly they have staying power.
TOPPAN is the one that is new to me, since I never heard of it before this year.
Komatsu interests me due to construction and how it seems that Japan has a lot of that going on (apologies for the super basic observation here).
For Kawasaki, I think of trains and how they would be a good candidate if other countries eventually want to develop High-Speed rail lines (specifically state to state in the USA). I only say this however because I see their name on trains in New York City. Their stock may not be as strong right now in comparison to the other two.
