Asahi Internet fully connected but won’t give me internet?

It’s plugged in to the ひかり and has the Wi-Fi pop up and I can connect to it but then it doesn’t provide internet, all the lights are green on both the modem and then the router has a flashing green light on the active portion of the router that my apartment provided. I then got a new router but when connected the internet light lights up red and doesn’t provide. The support web site doesn’t have the answer and would love to see if there’s an answer before I have to use my not so great Japanese with customer service

(The new router is third party it’s TP-link btw)
