  3. Love foie, love uni, and I’m a pretty big liver fan in general (beef with onions in particular).

    Ankimo is a delicacy that I’ve always purchased when available a la carte at nicer spots. I’m still not keen on it, but too stubborn to stop.

  4. It is proof that your sushi chef loves you. Ankimo is exquisitely delicious and it ain’t cheap either.

  5. Foie gras of the sea. Love me some ankimo. It is stuffed in sausage-like porous bag and then steamed. Best with ponzu.

  6. Damn, that on a chirashi is pretty effing luxurious, the only thing that could have 1UPed that would have been some caviars.

  7. I have never seen Chirashi served with Ankimo even at high end places! Too bad you’re not a fan I would have been delighted.
