Transfer from Wise to Shinsei – what am I doing wrong?

I’m trying to transfer GBP from Wise to Shinsei.

I only get options for local bank account (UK sort code/acct. no.) or IBAN.

I’ve tried changing every option I can find in the app and on the Wise website.

Since Japanese banks don’t use IBAN, I have to assume I’m doing something wrong, but I’m struggling to work out exactly what.

Calling Wise got me the answer that it’s impossible, that it because impossible recently, but they couldn’t tell me exactly when or why.

Could someone explain the steps for the transfer (or give me search terms or a link to a guide)?
