Following [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/1bhfatk/blackberry_classic_or_passport_in_japan_in_2024/), I kinda gave up on getting a used Blackberry, because it seems the ones that don’t run Android are too old to support VoLTE, which I understand is a special branch of 4G exclusive to Japan (??).
Anyway, I’m now looking for a dumb phone, that doesn’t run Android, and that can simply do calls and receive texts (for 2fa, etc.). I don’t even need a camera. I’ll do that stuff either on my smartphone with the sim card removed, or I might buy a separate digital camera, like old times.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
