Hi everybody.
My soon-to-be husband and I (both late 20s) are spending our honeymoon in Japan and Seoul and would really love some feedback.
It is our first time in Japan and we would like to explore and see as much as possible, but still take some time to breathe and relax and really appreciate our surroundings and experiences and make memories during our honeymoon.
Been lurking on this sub since last year, and just when I thought that I had finally managed to finalise our itinerary, I’m having some doubts because recently, we have been thinking that maybe we should extend our trip by 4 days (for an additional $900 for the two of us, representing the cost to change flights ($200 ish) and for the hotel stay ($700 ish)).

In your experience, do you think that what we have planned so far is do-able? If not, how would you restructure it?
Would you pay $900 more to stay for 4 additional days? If yes, where/how would you recommend we spend the 4 additional days? For info, our flights to Japan cost us $1,600 and takes approx 24 hours including transit – we don’t plan on going back to Japan in the foreseeable future given the cost of the flight ticket itself (2x more than anywhere else) and the travel time. Also, to put the $900 into perspective, our accommodation booked for the whole trip, including Seoul cost us $3,600 for 2 people). We can afford the $900, but the issue is more about planning where else to go.
Would absolutely love some recommendations!
