Hey, I am a 10th-grade student about to enter the IBDP program. I used to live in Japan and I wish to go back there for University. I’ve been researching how to prepare for Japanese Universities and came across EJU and JLPT. Is it advisable to dedicate my entire free time to studying Japanese (For example Japanese classes all throughout summer vacation )? Im looking into engineering degrees so Im aiming for TokyoTech, etc. Also if it were up to you how would you prepare for Japanese University from a N5 level? I would preferably like to avoid taking a gap year just to study Japanese!
