Onigirazu is actually not a sushi sandwich, but it means to not grip/grasp/hold. It’s supposed to be an easier/lazier way of making onigiri, just that you don’t have to form the shape by gripping/grasping in your hands, instead you simply sandwich the ingredients between rice.
I see that you have the rice just on one side, did the shape hold up well?

Sushi uses vinegared rice whereas onigiri/onigirazu don’t. jfyi.
