I take some prescription medicine and right now I need to go to a clinic to request a paper to be able to get my meds. This I do every 2 months (costing 1500 yen) to just get the paper needed for the pharmacy.
Last time at the pharmacy they asked something about my number card but I don’t understand exactly what they are trying to say. I was thinking that maybe this is some way for me to simplify this process?
Does anyone know if it is possible to somehow either get medication for longer time or skip the need to go to the clinic just to get the paper needed for the pharmacy?
Edit: maybe worth mentioning that the meds are meds I’ll take for the rest of my life.
