Hello, I have been looking into moving to Okinawa for a few years to study Japanese. I came across a school “ICLC” and they have an Intro to Japanese course im looking at. This school is located in Naha and I have family in Uruma. I want to meet new people and friends as well! Would it be ideal to get my international drivers license and buy a car? Or are there long term rentals where i can use the car for months at a time? I have so many questions and im planning on going this upcoming october. I just want to be able to get around without worrying about missing classes or being barred from things because I dont have a car. also If you know of any Japanese language schools that are foreigner friendly please let me know.
