Hello guys, hope yall doing well. im making this post since im planning to go to tokyo with my friends in october. atm we are 4 but might be 6 altogether, idk if that has an influence on the trip. duration would be 7 nights (arrival at a saturday approx. 18:00 until saturday flying back, maybe sunday tho depending)
now i wanted to get an general idea or guide about tokyo with some questions. i always wanted to visit japan and since we are seriously planning to go to japan i had some questions:
Nightlife: part of the plan i wrote is going to shibuya, akihabara and rainbow bridge when its dark. (shibuya also when its daytime tho). what other places are beautiful visits or interesting visits when its dark? i wouldn’t say that we are the party monsters, i at least don’t want to go to clubs. what options are there? we like cafes, beautiful and interesting cities and we’re open for many things.
daytime: during daytime, what are good visits? i really love how tokyo looks in the night but i also want to do something during the day. we’re planning to get up earlier than usual to get as much as possible. i thought during daytime we can visit places where you have beautiful landscapes, but idk a lot about what to do around that time.
hotel/airbnb: initially i was planning shibuya, but it seems kinda expensive compared to exmp. shinjuku. where would be a good spot to stay? we’ll probably mainly move around with trains/metros whatever, or also cabs. maybe somewhere close to shibuya, since that might be the place we’ll visit more than others. and hotel or airbnb?
stuff to do: what kinda stuff is there, that doenst involve exploring? we love arcades so i was thinking that, but like spots where we can stop for some time and do something fun.
is there anything else i need to know or would be good to know as a first timer? maybe some cheatcodes or whatsoever.
