Hello from Hiroshima – quick word to the wise – we expected there might be issues with use of a U.S. bank ATM card but the situation was far worse than we expected. Our (Truist) card was rejected across the board in convenience stores and banks. Spoke to our bank to no avail. Courtesy of some VERY kind staff at Bank of Hiroshima, we learned that, at least as to our cards, ONLY POST OFFICE ATMs accepted our card – there we had absolutely no issues. Secondary reminder – at least at the Hiroshima stadium (go Carp!) – the ticket office is CASH ONLY (which,
combined with the above, causes us not to be able to purchase tickets to last night’s game). Going tonight though!!
