My partner and I are planning to move to Japan in several years’ time but are hoping to find somewhere where we can bike anywhere we need to go.
While I know it may significantly differ depending on the area/prefecture, but how safe is it to bike in Japan, not only in terms of people but with road conditions, traffic, weather, wildlife, and otherwise?
We tried to do our own research but we are also exceptionally curious to better understand and appreciate your personal experiences biking in Japan. We hope to join you soon!
