Hi guys! We are first time travellers to Japan scheduled for Jan. 31 to Feb 6. Our itinerary is Narita Airport in Tokyo-Yamagata-Nagano-Tokyo for departure.
Now the problem is, importing nice winter jackets to our home country is damn expensive! So I tried searching for the flagship store of LL Bean in Japan and I found out it’s in Musashino, Tokyo.
Is it stupid to land in Narita, get to Tokyo, store our luggage somewhere near the Tokyo Shinkansen, commute to Musashino to buy jackets, then back to Tokyo Shinkansen to head straight to Yamagata? Will it take me hours and much stress? In the cold of Feb? My only cold weather wear currently is a windbreaker. Advice would be appreciated. Apologies if I sound stupid.
