Help with parents and a small trip in Japan

Hi. i’m living in Japan as a permanent resident, i didn’t meet my parents for more than 3 years and they want to come here to meet my daughter for the first time, from what i know there is no way to enter the country without pay for a tour, and as you can imagine, they will stay at my home and so it’s not somethings that fit our needs, so, what i could do? they are coming from EU and have the vaccine ( 3 shots ).

  1. You can invite them, it’s been possible since a couple months. Not on a tour, and they’ll be free to do whatever they want.

  2. Relatives of residents can visit now, you just need to contact your embassy and sort out the documents for a Visa for them.

  3. There is a paperwork packet you both will need to submit to your respective embassies/consulates.

My dad screwed up and has to do his for his winter vacation (which was supposed to be this past summer vacation) and my wife’s father-in-law followed the protocol to visit us some time ago.
