I’ve been to Sunshine City in Ikebukuro on three different occasions during my time in Japan. Every time I enter via the main street and through the long stretch with the flat escalators I am assaulted with what only can be described as the stench of raw sewage. I have a pretty high tolerance for stink but that place is eye-watering. Has anyone else experienced this?
