Hey all, first off, I am very far from retirement. However, I keep seeing these lovely Japanese countryside homes up for sale online, and they look like they would make a great place to holiday in or retire in.
If I were to buy one and maintain it as a project, to maybe visit for once a month of a year (I work in healthcare so holiday can be very flexible), would this be easy to do? Would a visa allow for foreigners to buy properties? To holiday in them for “x” time? And to maybe even retire in the country?
Obviously this would require learning Japanese and all that, but before getting to that stage, is this a possible plan?
