Hello, I will be going to Tokyo soon! May 26th for 5 full days (land on the 25th, will be in Tokyo from 26th – 30th. leaving for Mt. Fuji on 31st). I have a list of things I would like to do within Tokyo during that time and I just want to know if my itinerary sounds solid as far as how effective our running around will be.
Also, we are staying at the Shinjuku Prince
Things I would like to see/do:
Teamlab Planets AND Teamlabs Borderless
Shibuya Sky AND Tokyo Tower (prefer Shibuya Sky to be visited at night)
Sensoji Temple, Meiji Shrine, and the Imperial Palace
Cities I would like to see/roam around:
Shibuya, Harujuku, Akihabara, Odaiba.
So here’s a rough itinerary:
Day 1: Start the day at Meiji Shrine
* Head to Takeshita Street, then afterward head over to Omotesando Street
* Explore Shibuya
* Hopefully hit up Shibuya sky in the evening/night
* End the day in Shinjuku
Day 2: Start at the Fish Market near Odaiba
* Go to Teamlab Planets
* Explore Odaiba
* Go to the Nakamise Dori near Sensoji Temple
* Explore the area around, Possibly go to the Tokyo Skytree
* Go back to Sensoji Temple at night
Day 3: Start at Imperial Palace/Garden
* Go to Akihabara afterwards
* Head over to Teamlab Borderless (heard this is like a 3-5 hour kinda thing?)
* End the day in Tokyo Tower?
Day 4: Possible Day trip?
Day 5: Free day
Do you have any suggestions that could make this better? I would appreciate any areas I could visit to fill in the blanks!
