Will be in Japan for 8 days during mid June. Planning to do a one day trip from Tokyo to Kyoto one of those days and want to use the Shinkansen to and from Tokyo. Wanted advise on the below:
1. Price to and fro from Tokyo
2. Do I need to book it early or will tix be available on the same day to purchase from the station
3. Planning to do Fushimaro Shrine, Arashiyama Forest, Kuoe Kyoto watchmakers in the day I’m planning to be in Kyoto. any other recommendations?
