Hey! Looking for anyone who opened a Sony bank account.
I’ve heard good things about them and have had enough of Yuucho.
Looking at this application form for a bank account and I have everything that I need except for “proof of employment or something with my name in katakana”.
I am fully employed, but wanted to know what kind of documentation I could use for this? Does it need to be a letter from my company? Or a utility bill for my apartment? Etc.
Any help very welcome as well as your personal experience with Sony bank. Thanks guys

I used my business card
I think I used my health insurance card.
A utility bill worked for me. I had no job (in Japan) at the time. Just go through the application process and follow the instructions – utility bill wasn’t mentioned in the general instructions but was on the upload page.
