I really wish they would stop having Tsuji do long matches where he sells for 60% of the match. I get that he’s a young lion and they’ve gotta teach him to do that style and so he’s gotta practice doing long matches and selling. But like, that is not what he should be.
That first match against SANADA was amazing and something I haven’t stopped thinking about for a year. It was fast-paced, it was unpredictable, it was exciting and high impact and it was over in 17 minutes. It was so unique, it was so different from everything else in a NJPW main event, and we haven’t seen much like that from him since, minus a few matches.
They need to have him be more Brock Lesnar than a Naito or Tanahashi. It’s something NJPW doesn’t have and would set him apart.
