So I’ll be in Tokyo from the 30th of June to the 4th of July, I’m hoping to do a day trip to Mt Fuji on one of those days. Because I’ve heard the weather/visibility is uncertain I’m hesitant to lock in a guided day tour. Will I be able to get the same or similar experience if I do it self-guided using public transport? If so, what would be the best way to do this?
