So I wanna start some baito when my child is in kindergarten and thinking where to start. I pass N4 last December and now study for N3. I understand a lot and with speaking also I don’t have much problem. So I was thinking to work there for 4days 4hours. I had a colleague which worked in conbini with 0 Japanese and I know it was very difficult for her but I have already basic knowledge so I would like to try. Could you tell me how look your experience with work in conbini?

N4 will not be enough
I think it requires a higher level than you possess, depending on the services offered. You might have to help send packages, buy concert tix, explain how to send a fax, in addition to fielding “normal” combini questions like what kind of dashi you sell, what time you’re getting the next shipment of cotton tofu, etc.
i may be wrong but n3 might be enough. i also think konbini are pretty forgiving about having actual test certificates. they basicaly just go off the interview.
ALSO working konbini is a great way to improve your japanese very quickly. because you need to know how to do everything, not just selling chicken and soda, but bills and mailing packages. And they’ll teach you as part of the training.
