From what I know, the working holiday visa has a restriction saying we can’t work at places that affect the public morals.
What exactly does this entail? My understanding is host(ess) clubs are definitely not allowed. The official website also said bars are not allowed.
Does this mean we can’t work at any established that sells alcoholic drinks?
Does izakaya count as a bar?
This website says normal bars are ok.
I heard that there’s a difference between the 飲食店 and club license. Is that the differentiating factor?
Or is it up to the inspector if an inspection happens?
