I’ve been using the Mita line since I moved to Tokyo, but would get off in Mita. Now I go all the way to the Yokohama area for work. I’m super happy because going in that direction everyone gets off the train somewhere before Meguro, and it’s super chill.
But for the entire 6+ years I’ve been using Mita line, or the connections to Meguro and Toyoko lines to go to work in the morning, it’s always been late.
Like almost every day! This is a known issue, lots of people use these lines, why hasn’t this been solved? My freshman students have been raising their worries about the train constantly being late in the morning.
Can anyone explain why this issue hasn’t been solved? Or why does it even happen on a large scale.
