I recently got approved for my Japan eVisa. I have been given a QR code to scan in front of the immigration officers but it requires Internet connect. My phone doesn’t support esim and all the physical sim kiosks are after immigration. Would Narita airport free wifi be enough to scan the QR and get through the immigration. I do have a backup sim with international roaming but I do not trust it. I don’t think it will instantly start as soon as I land in Japan. I am going to land on 21 may
