Here it comes, Pension question time

I’ve been here 6 years, from age 18 to 24, meaning I’ve only been eligible for pension payment for 4 years. This will be my last semester in education. I went straight to a masters degree after I graduated my bachelor’s.

I know there are ways to be exempt from pension, and being a student is one of them (seeing as I have no income), however, I did not apply for such exemption. I saw on some posts thats its possible to retroactively wipe away pension costs if you explain your situation to your city ward and provide proof of being a student. Is this true? I hope to clear the board before I start working here properly, from which I will gladly pay taxes and pension like a law abiding citizen.
